Library Introduction:-
The library has been established right from the inception of the college in 1983. Initially it had 100 books. The college has continued its collection and at present it holds 5080 books. Previous years question papers of RTM Nagpur University etc.small plant of education turns into a huge shape of Tree.
The environment of the library is user-friendly. The present Librarian Dr. Ku. Swati S. Shambharkar (Associate Prof.) provides semi- Automated library Service to the college staff and students.
VISION OF THE LIBRARY: To Help The College in Achieving Overall Goal By Supporting Teaching-Learning Process through learning resources.

Dr. Ku. Swati S. Shambharkar is working as Librarian at Dr. L. D. Balkhande College of Arts and Commerce Pauni Dist. Bhandara since 20 years. She has completed her M.A., M. Phil. (Marathi) M.Lib. Andqualified NET in Library and Information Science from Nagpur University. She got Ph.D. in Library Information Science. She has written 10 research papers and articles 12 papers have been published in national Journals. She is a life member of i.e. NUCLA, MUCLA, NUTA.

The college library is housed in the college building of ground floor with a total area of 625 Sq.ft. Stack Room 350 Sq. Fit (Total Area 975)The library us well equipped withlighting and drinking water facilitiescreating an apt ambiance for studying. Internally the library is divided into various sections as follows:-

The library has a rich collection of books, journals, magazines, newspapers and other reading materials covering a wide vanity of subjects in English, Marathi and Hindi languages.
The total number of books including textbooks in the library as per Accession Register till – 31st March, 2024 : 5163

Organization of the book collection:-
The books and other reading materials in the library have been classified and organized in accordance with their subject matter as the 22nd edition of Dewey Decimal classification system.
Library Timings:-
The timings of the library are more flexible for students and faculty. The library is kept open throughout in accordance the year except on public holidays. The reading hours of the library are 9.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M. on all working days except Sunday.
Library Rules:-
  Every borrower will be issue 1 book
  The Books are issue for 7 days.
  All the books reissue for 7 days.
  The borrowers of the ticket will be Responsible for the Books Bearer for its

Library users:-
Students, Teachers, and administrative staff become regular readers of the library. The library facility is also extended to outside visitors as external members. Other persons who wish to consult books in the library occasionally, for specific purpose, can also be admitted for short period. On an average 50 – 60 users visit the library every days. Overall the library caters to the needs of approximately 635 users.
